The recipe for this flavoured rye whiskey from Kentucky remains unchanged since its inception in post-prohibition 1930's Philadelphia.
It's a blend of rye whiskey, Florida oranges and rock candy, and features candied oranges suspended in the bottle.
The result is a complex caramel and light cherry flavour.
Rock and Rye is best served ice-cold, straight up, or as a shot.
